Hey!
Well we had another great and busy week here. The Lord is truly merciful in all that He does and gives us. Yesterday was the baptism of Elena, who had been an investigator since I got to the area, and she started out really great. She was so ready to change and when we found her she was drinking at least 6 cups of coffee every day! But through various lessons and prayers, she finally was able to stop drinking coffee, but than she stopped going to church! We were like what, she was keeping her commitments, and she had her baptismal date like 2 times, and she just kept on thinking she wasn't ready. Her sister and her son kept going to church and got baptized, so we left her for about a week. We came back and we applied some new techniques on teaching the importance of prayer. It was a really spiritual lesson, and the day we went back she said she had kneeled down, and prayed, and she received her answer, knew it was true and desired to be baptized. The Lord truly prepares his children here on earth so that they can listen to the Gospel. She was so ready yesterday and it was a great feeling to watch her enter the baptismal waters. We also witnessed how the devil confuses Gods children and makes them feel uncertain, but in the end the Lord always prevails. I truly am so grateful to be here in the mission and trying to be a better person everyday. I hope everyone has a great week and keeps on fighting the good fight, its always worth it. I love you all
