THIS WEEKS EMAIL

Hola,

Yet another week has flown by in the mission field. It is going by way to fast! Today we decided to go to a Relief Society activity for lunch and it was super fun, we have two investigators come and we really enjoyed the time together. I have grown to love this place as my home. The people are so wonderful and have such strong testimonies. Thats what I love about being here is that almost everyone that comes to church here has there own testimonies. They prayed and asked our Father in Heaven if what we teach is true and they can testify with all of there heart that it is the only true church on the face of the planet.
We have 7 interviews tonight (Norma, Sabrina, Ayelen, Maira, Carla, Sabrina, Juan-Jose) and I am just now starting to feel the nerves. I have been pretty calm all week but right now I am feeling a little uneasy. I know that we just need to have faith. If they are prepared they will pass and will feel ready to make it to the waters of baptism this weekend. I have been thinking a lot about faith lately. As missionaries we hear about a lot of the negative things that have happened in the past and as a result there is a lot of negative attitudes and energy which breaks my heart. We have to remember that with God ANYTHING is possible. We have to keep the faith and work, show our faith through our actions and the Lord will bless us. I was reading in D&C today and found this scripture which I love, “and the time speedily cometh that great things have to be shown forth unto the children of men...but without faith shall not anything be shown forth”, 35:10-11. It is by our faith that great things come to past. It is by our faith that miracles happen. Let us all have more faith. Let us work. Instead of having faith that people will come to church next week, ask the Lord in faith to help you to help them come to church. Instead of just asking, promise the Lord that you will do everything you ca to help them and in return would like to see great things happen. The Lord is obligated when we do what he says (D$C 82:10).
I love you all. I love this work. And even though I didnt get into BYU Provo AGAIN (This is like the 4th time I have applied) I know that the Lord will bless me with the desires of my heart if i keep working in his vinard. Which means that my super hot super spiritual husband is going to be at BYU Idaho ;).
KEEP THE FAITH!!!Hna Redfern

Hey all!
Well another week here in Poza Rica. The weather has been weird, raining, heat, cold, really hot. Its crazy we are almost into April! General Conference this weekend! Man i am so stoked! The chance to listen to living prophets, to soak in their words and know it came as though from the Savior himself. They speak scripture. I hope you all can have a wonderful and prayerful conference. I would LOVE for President Monson to stand up and just say, Saints, lets get to building Zion. I love the mission. Such a great experience. Yesterday we were talking to Toño who we are teaching him and his family, and he was just talking about how he has been feeling inside. He just lost his job and has pretty much no money. But he just says ever since he{s been looking into the church, his attitude has completely changed. He also mentioned that he loved how welcomed he felt when almost everybody went up to shake his hand and tell him to keep moving forward in Sunday on church. The members can have such a great affect on the investigators. Always remember that! On Wednesday we finished building a wooden wall and door. It was pretty legit, I'm glad my comp knew somewhat of what we were doing, because sometimes we offer service and than realize, um wow this is gonna be tough. ha. But it was a great experience. I just feel so privileged to be here in the mission knowing my sister and my best friend are just such missionary STUDS! Someone tell elder sanchez hes my hero. I love seeing great missionaries do what they do best. I'm not the best teacher, I'm not even close to being the example missionary. But i do love the mission. I love the doctrine, i love the truth. I love you all for everything you have given me, have a great week!!!
