Hey all! so this was another good week. WE got out and did some good service. On Monday we went and painted a house with some members that needed =our help. It was fun. Also on saturday we went and to echar un piso. or to put a cement floor more like driveway in front of homebody's house. It was cool because he was a reference and we went to visit him and he didnt really want to hear anything, so we just offered to help him in any way we could, and he said really? come Saturday and were gonna finish the floor. So we did and he gave us tamales that were awesomely good, and than=we made the cement from cement powder sand water and rocks. It was tough stuff. We made it than spread it out and smoothed it and all. It was =pretty awesome. It was cool because we knew the guy wasnt really wanting=to hear our message, but we still gave it to him... through service. We didnt teach with words, but with example. He asked why we really offered service to anyone, and we just said that's how the Lord Jesus Christ lived, and how he taught us, and he just said with a smile which is like saying, thats it, or thats right. But Ive always been happy to have opportunites like that in the mission, they really can have an affect on the people, and on us. I hope to be more service giving for the rest of my life, its something truly amazing. Well this is the last week of the change, so who knows if Ill be here in Altamira next week Ill just have to wait and find out. have a great week everybody i love you and thanks for the support!

Hola!Another week has literally FLOWN by. I am coming up on 6 months in the field and I still dont speak Spanish! AHHHHHH. Do any of you know anyone who has come back from their mission still not knowing the language they were suppose to learn? If you do, dont tell me about it. Its my bad, I still speak English with my comp a lot. Marilina is getting baptized, this Saturday! We are totally excited, but she has faced a lot of opposition, but the great thing is she isnt alone. This week I read over the talk that Elder Holland gave this past conference about the long journey that Christ took alone. That he knows how we feel when we feel alone. He has been there. We need to remember that, we need to remember to use the atonement in our lives. Something I have been thinking a lot about this week is faith. Juan Diaz our new convert said the other day in a cita, the men who hold the priesthood and dont do their duties it is because they doubt. This is true for all of us. All of us that dont do our duties or follow the commandments it is because we doubt that we will receive the things that the Lord has promised us. Doubt and faith are complete opposites, obviously. If we are not doing our duties it is because we doubt. Dont doubt, have faith that what you are doing will make a difference. Have faith that all the hard work that you put into building up =the kingdom of God will make a difference. Have faith that if you keep the law of chastity you will find someone to marry. Have faith that if you dont drink or smoke that you will be happy and your body will be healthy. I need more faith, we all need more faith. Things are going well here! The work is still moving forward. I have never felt more like a tool then I do right now. Really I am just a tiny tool in a long hard operation. The doctor does all the work! I never thought I would say this but I like being a tool. I am starting to loose ideas with that to write. I could tell you all about my investigators but I feel like a one page email wont do justice. Send my mom some ideas of what you want to hear. I love you all! I hope you are doing whatever it takes to spread the gospel! It is our DUTY as members of the true church! Keep in touch!
