THIS WEEKS EMAILS

Hermana Burns
So my WHOLE email just got wiped out because the computers all shut down. I was even writing in word but it didn’t save so this email is probably not going to be as good….It is transfers today and me and Hna burns are together for another one! I am so excited. I love her, I feel so lucky to have her. We were worried all week because our area hasn´t been doing well and we kind of got the idea from our district leader that they were thinking about changing things up… But we are staying and are more determined then EVER!We have another awesome investigator. Another woman of course. The women here are AMAZING…the men cold use some more humbling  Our last lesson with her, Mari, I had to pretty much teach because my comp wasn´t feeling well. I was as blunt as I could be in Spanish and we committed her to getting baptized the 27th. She came to church all by herself and told us yesterday that she was having the discussion with her husband about how he better step up because this is about SALVATION! She is the BOMB! This is About SALVATION. I wish more people understood that. And guess what, it is our job as members to help people. To teach. Our branch is starting to work well together and with us. I see some good changes happening and I am stoked about this transfer. As for some funny things…I got ATTACKED by a dog. I know Aunt Keri is not going to like this statement but I may have to say that I HATE dogs now. Thank goodness for the huge gate our else I would have been killed. Seriously. He got a bite of my backpack and that’s it. I tweak out now every time a dog starts running after me. But they smell fear so I am trying to be strong lol. OH, and the other day I saw this really tall man here, which is not common at all. I turned to hna Burns and was like, “that guy reminds me of someone from college”. She was like “Patrick Hillary?” haha I freaked, that was exactly who I was thinking of…small world!Things are seriously great. Really hard at times, but great. I have found that satan works so hard on making us think bad thoughts. God is not capable of making negative thoughts. I LOVE THIS WORK. It is the only true church that exist on this earth!!!!I love you all
Love, Hna Redfern
As for packages...I would LOVE peanut butter, fiber bars, nylons, reeses (the ones with the EXTRA peanut butter, but they will prob melt)

So this week was pretty good, and it ended really well, that's the important thing. We had 5 investigators at church and like 3 less active families come that we have been visiting, its really hard to get people to actually come to church, but we taught some effective lessons this week and the lord did the rest. It was nice to have a lil break of worrying if people just listen to us because we are dashingly good looking. Ha total joke, but people are really nice and will let you come over for months at a time and still never change. But we´ve seen a couple people make a lot of progress that were looking like we were gonna have to drop them. So Sunday was a day of relief and joy. I really love when people come to church especially all by themselves. Because when they say..oh no i can get there by myself, don't come over to pick me up, we´ll be there for sure.. that just means.. no.. I'm not going.. But people came and it was good stuff. So according to all powerful Elder Sanchez I'm don't have very much time in the mish (8 months today) cuz i still write letters.. but i will attest that the desire certainly decline(except to tink) haha, because you really don't have that much time anyways. But i want everyone to know how grateful i am for the support i get from everyone.. Life is good here, hot like usual, sweating like always, but just persevering through the pains bodily and mentally to do the lords work. ya gotta love it. We have 4 baptisms planned for the 27th, but two we might have to push back because they are going out of town, but man that would really animate the ward to have four baptisms this month, pray for us. I love you all and hope everyone is in great health, and yes i quote joey, when you go to the pool, think about us who cannot swim.

Thanks love you all!

Elder Redfern
