I am always sad when summer is over...(even though its 104 today)
I love having my kids home...
I love family vacations...
I love laying by the pool with friends...
I love hanging out late on weeknights...
I love our little trips we take...
When the kids were little I have to admit I didnt love it quite as much...trying to keep 6 little kids busy all summer...but as they got older I loved having them home.
Maybe its because I taught early morning seminary and it was my break.
Maybe it's because I don't enjoy all the school meetings at night
Maybe it's because I don't enjoy the "do you have your homework done"
Maybe it's because I worry about the constant influence at school
Maybe it's because I worry about some of the things that are being taught in the schools today
Maybe it's because I don't enjoy getting up at the crack of dawn
(for the first time in 20 something yrs I dont have to drive to school)
I will miss you summer...school started way to early here in Cali...it is so sad!
